Role Description The Training Placement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for connecting learners with suitable employment and internship opportunities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, HR teams, and industry stakeholders to generate placement prospects for Veranda’s learners.

The Training Placement

Officer will coordinate campus recruitment activities, pre-placement talks, career fairs, and employer engagement events, while tracking and reporting placement outcomes. Daily tasks include assessing learners’ employability skills,



organizing soft skills and interview readiness sessions, guiding learners on resumes and professional communication, and ensuring alignment between training programs and industry requirements. The role also requires close collaboration with academic and training teams to continuously improve placement readiness and employability.

Qualifications

- Strong campus placement and college recruiting experience, with the ability to build and sustain employer networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with learners, faculty, and corporate stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering training and soft skills programs focused on interview preparation, teamwork, and workplace behavior.
- Ability to coordinate placement activities, maintain placement records, and analyze outcomes to improve processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, HR, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in training, placement, career services, or corporate HR, preferably within the education or skilling sector.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management tools; familiarity with CRM or placement management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to learner success, inclusivity, and ethical placement practices.
