We are looking for a skilled and responsible OT Technician to assist doctors, surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures and ensure smooth and safe functioning of the Operation Theatre.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the OT before every surgical procedure.

Ensure availability and proper functioning of OT instruments and equipment.

Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries.

Maintain sterile and aseptic conditions in the OT.

Perform proper cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of instruments.

Arrange surgical instruments, gowns, gloves and other required supplies.

Check OT equipment before and after procedures.

Maintain OT registers, records and documentation.

Assist in shifting and positioning patients safely.

Follow infection-control and hospital safety protocols.

Maintain OT stock and inform seniors about shortages.

Handle and maintain surgical instruments carefully.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other OT staff.

Follow NABH and hospital policies related to OT and infection control.

Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital protocol.





Perform other OT-related duties assigned by the management.

Eligibility

Qualification: Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent.

Experience: 15 years preferred.

Hospital/OT experience preferred.

Freshers with relevant qualification may also be considered.

Ability to work under pressure

Responsible and attentive towards patient safety

Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills
