Roles and Responsibilities :

- Solid Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS) OpenShift cluster installation, configuration, and administration

Experience in migrating workloads from VMware to OpenShift

Knowledge of container runtime, pods, services, and networking

Hardware layer understanding (compute, storage, networking)

Knowledge of container runtime, pods, services, and networking

Knowledge of Kubernetes Framework and operations.

Education Any Degree

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Administer and manage OpenShift clusters on bare metal and virtual infrastructure.

Plan and execute migration of applications from VMware to OpenShift platform.

Manage Linux OS at hardware/backend layer including patching, performance tuning, and capacity management.

Design and maintain High Availability (HA) and failover mechanisms for OpenShift.

Work with storage, networking, and security teams to ensure stable cluster operations.

Monitor OpenShift and backend infrastructure health and troubleshoot issues.

Implement automation for cluster operations using Ansible or scripting.
