The Officer Application Testing will be responsible for testing and evaluating the performance of our back-office applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and provide an excellent user experience. This role will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues, and will also collaborate with the customer care team to understand customer needs and feedback.

Responsibilities

- Execute comprehensive testing procedures to identify and report bugs, performance issues, and usability concerns.
- Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and resolve identified issues, ensuring timely and effective fixes.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts to cover all aspects of the application's functionality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or updates do not introduce new bugs or affect existing functionalities.
- Document and communicate test results, providing transparent and concise reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance testing strategies and methodologies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT)



to ensure the application meets customer requirements and expectations.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the development team to enhance the overall quality and user experience of the application.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a back-office or customer-facing application environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, scenarios, and scripts, and experience with test case management tools.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages is preferred.
- Good understanding of database concepts and SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
