Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Bengaluru.

The Occupational

Therapist will assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence in daily activities.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, documenting evaluations and progress notes, and collaborating with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, and caregivers to coordinate care. The role involves working with a varied caseload, including pediatric and adult clients, providing education on home programs and adaptive strategies, and recommending assistive devices or environmental modifications as needed.

The Occupational





Therapist will also participate in case discussions, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with clinical and organizational s tandards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Relevant knowledge of Medicine as it relates to therapy, including understanding of common diagnoses, precautions, and interdisciplinary care.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and for providing clear education and counseling.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including assessment and intervention for children with developmental, physical, or sensory needs.
- Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; current or eligible professional licensure/registration as required by local regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting, manage a clinical caseload, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and ongoing professional development through training and continuing education.
- Basic computer skills for electronic medical records and reporting; prior clinical experience in a rehabilitation or medical practice setting is an advantage.
