Position: Nursing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Nursing Supervisor to supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure adherence to hospital nursing standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of nursing staff.
- Ensure adequate nursing manpower and effective duty allocation.
- Monitor patient care and ensure compliance with nursing standards.
- Support nurses in managing critical and emergency situations.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for effective patient care.
- Ensure proper medication administration, documentation, and handover procedures.
- Monitor infection-control practices and patient-safety standards.
- Conduct regular rounds and address patient-care-related concerns.
- Guide, train, and support nursing staff in clinical and operational practices.
- Monitor nursing documentation, registers, and reports.
- Handle nursing-related complaints and escalate issues to the Nursing Head.
- Ensure proper availability and utilization of nursing supplies and equipment.
- Participate in audits, quality initiatives,



NABH activities, and hospital training programs.
- Prepare and monitor nursing duty rosters as required.
- Maintain discipline and skilled standards among nursing staff.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Nursing Head / Management.

Eligibility:

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with valid registration.
- 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Hospital experience in a multi-specialty / cardiac hospital will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
