Job Overview

Avyana Health is looking for a caring, responsible, and dedicated Assistant Nurse to join our healthcare team in Coimbatore.

The Assistant Nurse will support Staff Nurses and doctors in providing patient care and assisting with daily nursing activities. The candidate should have a compassionate approach toward patients, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Staff Nurses and doctors with patient care.
- Support patients with their daily care and comfort needs.
- Assist in monitoring and recording patients’ vital signs as instructed.
- Observe patients and promptly report any changes or concerns to the Staff Nurse.
- Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and transfers.
- Assist patients with personal care activities when required.
- Help prepare patients for consultations, examinations, and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient-care areas.
- Assist with maintaining and organizing nursing equipment and supplies.
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety procedures.




- Provide respectful and compassionate support to patients and their families.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Follow Avyana Health’s nursing procedures and workplace policies.

Candidate Requirements
- ANM, GDA, Nursing Assistant, or relevant healthcare qualification preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of patient care and hygiene.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Caring, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work well with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff.
- Willingness to work day shift only.
