Job Summary

We are looking for a Non-Functional Test (NFT) Lead – Quality Manager to lead the non-functional testing capability across the domain, covering performance, scalability, resilience and security-related testing.

The role will focus on shifting NFT earlier into the software delivery lifecycle (Shift-Left) and leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve test efficiency, analysis, reporting and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Own the domain-wide NFT strategy covering performance, load, stress, scalability and resilience testing.

Drive Shift-Left NFT by embedding non-functional validation early in the development and delivery lifecycle.

Leverage AI for test design, test-result analysis, bottleneck identification and reporting.

Define NFT standards, entry/exit criteria and non-functional acceptance thresholds.

Lead performance engineering activities, including environment and test-data readiness and testing tools.

Analyse performance results and identify root causes related to memory, latency, throughput and other performance bottlenecks.

Work closely with engineering teams to drive performance issue remediation.

Provide transparent NFT reporting, risk assessment and recommendations to delivery and senior stakeholders.

Build, mentor and develop the NFT team and strengthen non-functional testing capabilities across the domain.

Skills & Experience

10+ years of strong experience in Performance Testing and Non-Functional Testing at scale.





Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and NFT frameworks.

Strong skills in performance-result analysis and root-cause analysis.

Experience embedding NFT into CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines.

Proven experience implementing Shift-Left Non-Functional Testing.

Practical experience using AI to accelerate NFT analysis, reporting or test creation.

Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts including latency, throughput, scalability, resource utilisation and resilience.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate NFT risks and technical findings into clear business impact for leadership.

Non-functional risks identified earlier in the software development lifecycle.

Improved system performance, scalability and resilience before production release.

Demonstrable efficiency gains in NFT execution and analysis through AI.

Consistent NFT standards, processes and reporting adopted across teams.

Improved visibility of non-functional risks and performance bottlenecks.
