Role Description The New Product Development Manager BLDC Fans is a full-time, on-site role based in Sonipat, responsible for leading end-to-end development of BLDC ceiling fan products. The role involves conducting market and technical research, defining product requirements, and coordinating with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to develop, test, and validate new fan models.

The manager will oversee project timelines, cost targets, and quality standards, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and efficiency regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing prototypes, collaborating with suppliers for components, reviewing performance data,



and driving continuous improvement in product design and energy efficiency. The role also includes preparing technical documentation, supporting product launches, and partnering with sales and marketing to align current products with customer needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) skills, including innovation in BLDC motor technology and new product design.
- Candidates should have Project Management skills to plan, execute, and monitor product development projects within time and budget constraints.
- Candidates should have experience in the consumer appliance or related manufacturing industry, with an understanding of product lifecycle, quality standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISI, energy efficiency ratings).
- Candidates should demonstrate technical proficiency in electrical or mechanical engineering, BLDC motors, and fan performance testing, supported by practical hands-on experience with prototypes and production processes.
- Candidates should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, along with effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or a closely related field) is preferred; prior experience in new product development for fans or small home appliances is an advantage.
