Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, configuration, and deployment of our security products within client environments (on-prem, hybrid, or restricted networks).
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide technical input on architecture, integration, and deployment feasibility.
- Navigate complex, segmented, and access-restricted enterprise networks (firewalled zones, VLANs, regulated environments) to deploy and validate solutions.
- Perform network security assessments and troubleshooting to ensure solutions integrate correctly with client infrastructure.
- Coordinate with client IT/security teams to obtain necessary access, approvals, and change-control sign-offs during onsite deployments.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment reports, and findings for both internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Stay current on networking, security, and infrastructure best practices to continually improve deployment approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security,
Networking, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of experience in network security engineering, with solid hands-on knowledge of:
- Routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and enterprise network architecture
- TLS/SSL, PKI, and certificate/key management fundamentals
- Common security and networking tools and SIEM platforms
- Demonstrated ability to work independently onsite in restricted, regulated, or high-security client environments (finance, government, critical infrastructure, defense, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for deploying solutions within constrained network conditions (proxy-only access, no internet egress, strict firewall rules, limited privileges).
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, able to explain technical topics to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
