We are looking for an experienced Sr. Analyst - BI, Reporting and Data Visualization with strong hands-on expertise in the MicroStrategy BI platform to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge across the MicroStrategy suite including Reporting, Dashboards, SDK, Mobile, Desktop, and Web and will play a key role in delivering scalable BI solutions to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards using MicroStrategy Reporting and Dashboards

- Build and customize applications using the MicroStrategy SDK to extend platform capabilities

- Configure and deploy MicroStrategy Mobile solutions for on-the-go business intelligence access

- Develop and manage schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies), metrics, filters, and reports using MicroStrategy Desktop

- Administer and optimize the MicroStrategy Web environment, including security, user access, and performance tuning

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions

- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and the overall BI environment

- Manage MicroStrategy project configuration, user/group security,



and object migrations across environments (Dev/Test/Prod)

- Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data models support reporting requirements

- Conduct code/design reviews and ensure adherence to BI development standards and best practices

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on MicroStrategy development

- Support UAT, defect resolution, and production issue troubleshooting

- Stay current with new MicroStrategy releases, features, and industry BI trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

- Hands-on expertise in:

- MicroStrategy Reporting

- MicroStrategy SDK

- MicroStrategy Mobile

- MicroStrategy Dashboards

- MicroStrategy Desktop

- MicroStrategy Web

- Solid understanding of MicroStrategy architecture (Intelligence Server, metadata repository, schema design)

- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts

- Experience with performance optimization techniques for reports and dashboards

- Familiarity with security models, user provisioning, and object migration in MicroStrategy

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Experience leading or mentoring a small team of developers is a plus
