We are seeking a skilled Metallurgist to analyze, develop, and improve metallic materials and manufacturing processes. The candidate will be responsible for material testing, failure analysis, quality control, heat treatment evaluation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis of metals and alloys.

- Perform microstructure examination using metallurgical microscopes.

- Investigate material failures, fractures, corrosion, and defects.

- Develop and optimize heat treatment processes.

- Ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.

- Review material certifications and testing reports.

- Monitor production processes and recommend improvements.

- Prepare technical reports and documentation.

- Work with production, quality, and design teams to resolve material-related issues.

- Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, ASME, API,



and other applicable standards.

- Support customer audits and certification requirements.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to material performance and quality.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, B TECH, B E , Materials Engineering, or related field.

- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience (depending on position level).

- Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

- Experience with heat treatment, material testing, and quality assurance.

- Familiarity with metallurgical laboratory equipment and testing methods.

- Proficiency in interpreting material specifications and engineering drawings.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
