Role Description The MEP Project Engineer will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for residential and commercial projects, ensuring designs are executed according to specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and site teams, reviewing technical drawings, preparing MEP layouts, and monitoring installation work on-site. The role involves planning project schedules, managing resources, resolving technical issues, and participating in site meetings to ensure timely completion of all MEP activities.

The engineer will also conduct inspections, supervise testing and commissioning, and prepare progress reports and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nilambur Kerala

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Mechanical,



Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with the ability to integrate and coordinate these disciplines across project phases.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering concepts relevant to building services, including HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical equipment selection and layout.
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering for building projects, including power distribution, lighting, safety systems, and adherence to applicable electrical codes.
- Solid understanding of Plumbing systems design and installation, including water supply, drainage, and sanitation in residential and commercial projects.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Experience in building construction projects, ideally in residential or mixed-use developments, with on-site supervision responsibilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP preferred), and prepare clear documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and contractors in office.
