This is a full-time role for a Project Engineer (MEP)

in the Mumbai office, tasked with overseeing MEP documentation projects. Responsibilities include leading MEP engineering teams, ensuring technical accuracy, quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented, independently handling projects, creating MEP design drawings, producing construction documentation drawings, coordinating with other design disciplines for multiple prestigious commercial, Retail, F&B; projects across the globe.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for overall management & co-ordination of MEP design and collaborating with the production team in all aspects of the preparation of construction documents including QA/ QC process.
- Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established global standards.
- Review plans and specifications for technical accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.
- Provide technical support and project communication to the Junior team as required. Act as point of contact for all MEP technical issues.




- Coordinate with Architectural team & other consultants on project to assure continuity & consistency of documentation including organization, coordination, thoroughness, & accuracy of all documents in the drawing set & timely completion of deliverables.
- Interface with clients, lead program reviews and assess technical progress for programs.
- Direct determination of scope, complexity and scheduling requirements of Projects.
- Lead by example; influences without having to use authority.

Skills & Expertise:

- Advanced Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design expertise, specifically related to construction documentation.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC process.
- Advanced knowledge of MEP building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
- Demonstrates proficient skills in AutoCAD / Revit, with an advanced level of expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Ability to be proactive, to use initiative and to work autonomously.
- Problem-solving skills and dedicated to own learning and development.
- Better than average written and spoken communication skills.

Education & Experience:

- 4 - Years of bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering or other equivalent education is a must.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of MEP design, production, and technical experience through all phases of design and construction documentation process.
- Prior experience with global Retail, F&B; projects is preferred and beneficial.
