Key Responsibilities

- Perform Point-of-Care Testing and basic diagnostic investigations as per the programme scope and approved protocols.
- Collect, label, handle and process clinical samples as applicable.
- Operate, clean and maintain Lab devices and other laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and readiness for field use.
- Follow standard procedures for sample collection, handling, storage, testing and disposal.
- Perform internal quality-control checks and ensure accuracy and reliability of investigation results.
- Record test results accurately and upload investigation findings to the EMR/digital health platform.
- Maintain laboratory registers, test records, consumables and inventory, and monitor expiry of reagents and supplies.




- Coordinate with the Medical Officer and Paramedic regarding abnormal/critical results and ensure timely communication and referral where required.
- Maintain appropriate Lab safety practices during field operations.
- Minimum Educational Qualification: DMLT / B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT) or equivalent recognised laboratory qualification.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred; field diagnostics, primary healthcare, MMU or community health programmes desirable.
- Key Skills: Basic laboratory investigations; clinical sample collection and processing; operation and maintenance of diagnostic equipment; quality control and assurance; biosafety and infection prevention; EMR/digital data entry; inventory and consumables management; accurate documentation and reporting.
- Language: Conversant in the local/regional language of the target beneficiary population and able to communicate effectively with patients during sample collection and testing.
- Deployment: Based on the Mobile Medical Unit remote screening locations, support outreach camps and community-level eye screening activities.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
