The institute also conducts mock interviews and provides ongoing placement calls to help graduates secure roles in the healthcare industry.

Role Description The Medical Coding Trainer will deliver part-time, in office training sessions at the institute’s Pune City location.

Responsibilities include teaching core medical coding concepts aligned with CPC certification requirements, covering ICD-10-CH, HCPCS, CP, and related coding guidelines. The trainer will plan and conduct daily instructional sessions, design and evaluate weekly assessments, and provide feedback to help learners improve accuracy and compliance. The role involves preparing candidates for the CPC exam, supporting them with exam strategies,



and participating in mock interviews and career-readiness activities.

The trainer will also collaborate with the institute team to update course materials and maintain high-quality, learner-centered instruction.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated medical coding expertise, including Medical Coding and Coding Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
- Background in Health Information Management, ideally with knowledge of healthcare documentation standards and information governance.
- Strong grasp of Medical Terminology and clinical concepts relevant to accurate coding and reimbursement.
- Professional credential such as RHIT or equivalent coding/health information certification is preferred.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in medical coding or related healthcare education.
- Ability to design lesson plans, create assessments, and explain complex coding rules clearly to diverse learners.
- Comfort working on-site in Pune City and managing part-time teaching schedules, including weekends if required.
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and commitment to ethical, compliant coding practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in health information management, healthcare administration, life sciences, or a related field is advantageous.
