About the Role
We're Hiring: Accounting Associate - AP & GL! We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounts payable (AP) and general ledger (GL) functions, with the ability to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

What You'll Do
Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct approvals, coding, and VAT treatment.
Maintain vendor records and handle supplier queries promptly and professionally.
Administer approval workflows for orders and approvals.
Prepare payment runs for review and approval.
Manage employee expense claims, liaising with employees and line managers on anomalies.
Ensure all bank transactions are reconciled and supported with documentation.
Assist with other supplier-related ad hoc tasks.
Manage subscription/contracts tracking.
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
End-of-month and end-of-year closing procedures and reconciliations.
Comply with IFRS for bookkeeping and financial statements.
Assist in maintaining robust financial controls by ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and government regulations.
Annual accounts audits and general ledger preparation and assistance.
What We're Looking For
Accounting, business administration of finance bachelor’s degree
Proficiency in English
Knowledge of accounting, economics, and financial principles
Strong quantitative skills
Thoroughness, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Process-driven
Critical thinking
Confidentiality and discretion
Experience with EU VAT legislations and processes is a plus, particularly Sweden
Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
