Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Mumbai.

The Mechanical

Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for payment devices and related hardware, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. Daily responsibilities include creating and updating CAD models and detailed drawings, performing tolerance and stress analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in electronics, firmware, and manufacturing. The role involves supporting R&D; activities, building and testing prototypes, troubleshooting mechanical issues,



and contributing to continuous improvement of product design and production processes.

The Mechanical

Engineer will also assist with project planning, documentation, and coordination with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, including materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Machine Design for small electromechanical devices and precision components.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
- Exposure to Research and Development (R&D;), including prototyping, testing, and design validation.
- Basic Project Management skills for planning tasks, tracking progress, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, work with suppliers, and support manufacturing and quality teams.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and capability to work independently and collaboratively on-site in Mumbai.
- Experience in consumer electronics, payment devices, or similar product development environments is an advantage.
