Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-driven, innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from initial concept through to production. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, hands-on expertise in industry-standard CAD software (such as SolidWorks or Creo Parametric), and a passion for turning complex technical requirements into reliable, manufacturable products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Design & Development: Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and mechanisms from scratch or modify existing designs based on project requirements.
- CAD Modeling & Drafting: Create precise 3D models, detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, and bill of materials (BOMs) using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo Parametric).
- Engineering Analysis: Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, kinematics studies, and design for manufacturability/assembly (DFM/DFA) evaluations.
- Prototyping & Testing: Collaborate with the prototyping and workshop teams to build, test, and troubleshoot initial design iterations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with electrical, manufacturing, quality control,



and project management teams to ensure design feasibility and seamless product launches.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough technical documentation, design revisions, engineering change notices (ECNs), and compliance records.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 1 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on proficiency in 3D CAD software (specifically SolidWorks and/or Creo Parametric).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, material science, manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, injection molding, casting), and GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Problem-Solving: Robust analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting design and production challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively to team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with advanced assemblies, routing (e.g., wire harnesses, piping), or complex surface modeling.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation tools.
- Experience managing engineering change orders (ECOs) within a PLM/ERP system environment.

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
