Overview:

We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in mold design and SolidWorks for a product development and manufacturing environment. The role requires someone actively involved in design work, not purely managerial or review-based.

Key Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design

- Robust hands-on experience in Mold Design (Injection Mold / Plastic Components / Tooling)

- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory

- Experience in plastic part design, DFM/DFA, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing drawings

- Hands-on involvement in current role is required

- Experience working with tooling vendors, mold trials, and manufacturability improvements

- Ability to independently handle 3D modeling, assemblies, detailed drawings, and BOMs

- Experience with sheet metal, fixtures, jigs, or electromechanical assemblies is an added advantage

- Medical device industry experience is preferred





Responsibilities:

- Design and develop plastic and mechanical components for manufacturing

- Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and production drawings in SolidWorks

- Work closely with tooling vendors and manufacturing teams during mold development and trials

- Perform DFM/DFA reviews and support product optimization

- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production release

- Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements

Preferred

- Medical device / precision engineering background

- Experience with Moldflow, tooling validation, or injection molding processes

- Diploma in Tool & Die / Mechanical Engineering background is a plus

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
