Purpose of the Role

Responsible for planning, monitoring, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials, components, and packaging materials to support production and customer requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze demand forecasts and production schedules to determine material requirements.
- Create and maintain material planning schedules and purchase requisitions.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Suppliers for material availability.
- Track supplier deliveries and expedite critical materials when required.
- Maintain safety stock and reorder levels.
- Review material shortages and develop corrective action plans.
- Support monthly inventory reconciliation and cycle count activities.
- Generate reports on inventory, stock coverage, shortages, and material consumption.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and planning procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Production Planning.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
