Purpose: The role of the Master Data Governance (MDG) Analyst is to ensure the successful delivery of the TwiningsOvo global MDG solution to the business, in-line with Project Optimus.

This will require an evaluation of the MDG global template against local requirements in order to determine suitability within a particular BU. Resultant gaps will then need to be managed accordingly; either by capturing requirements that translate into changes to the global template executed by the development team, or by working with the OCM team to implement changes to business process within the local BU

As a member of the MDG team, you will actively promote the importance of data ownership and MDG in the business and be an advocate for the MDG platform.

Scope: Will require some flexibility in working hours aligned with a global role.

Key Responsibilities

- Gain an understanding of the global template and principles of MDG within TwO
- Review and enhance the methodology and governance framework for MDG development and delivery,



including change management process and roles and responsibilities.
- Define and document the data owners and ensure they understand the concepts of data ownership and their role within MDG.
- Work with the Global Process Owners and ensure the end-to-end MDG business processes are fit for purpose.
- Analysis of the overall MDG solution with recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support with the TwO longer-term strategy around real-time automation of master data objects between SAP and the MDG platform
- Create and own the overall strategy and plan for the deployment of the global MDG template to the local businesses in-line with the Optimus programme.
- Act as the MDG template architect and advise on design and technical solutions where needed.
- For each deployment wave, plan and host a series of workshops with local business, SME’s, development team to demonstrate the global MDG template and determine and capture versus local requirements (fit-gap analysis).
- Playback of fit-gap analysis to Global Process Owners including recommendations as to how gaps will be closed (MDG template technical changes, or business change impact)
- Engage with the business to introduce concepts and importance of MDG and promote the MDG platform.

Skills,



Knowledge and Expertise

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Master Data Governance role
- Experience with Master Data Management and Maintenance – SAP preferred
- Experience working for a multinational organisation and working with colleagues internationally and demonstrated mobility.
- Experience working in a team onshore and offshore and the coordination of a team of developers
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience running demonstration workshops to determine gaps in global template versus local requirements.
- Ability to understand, explain and present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and being able to bridge the gap between business users and development team.
- Experience with creation and managing a technical development backlog plan through to completion, including tracking, stand-ups.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. K2/Nintex, MS Power Apps, SAP MDG)
- Hands on experience with developing applications in Business Process Automation platforms
- Experience with SAP / master data processes
- Experience using SQL technologies, including understanding of database design, and creation of schemas, tables, views, stored procedures.
