About the Role

Aguante.in is a growing sportswear and athleisure brand with its own manufacturing unit. We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Unit Manager who can take ownership of the overall manufacturing operations and help us build a high-quality, productive and scalable manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for manufacturing unit operations, productivity, quality and timely production.
- Manage and coordinate Production and Quality functions and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Must have prior experience handling a production line with 50+ industrial sewing machines.
- Plan production, manpower and machine utilization to achieve production targets.
- Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machine settings, garment construction and production processes.
- Monitor production efficiency, line balancing, wastage, rejection and rework.
- Establish and implement SOPs, systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify production and quality issues and implement effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure consistent product quality while improving production quantity and efficiency.
- Develop and manage a responsible, disciplined and productive production team.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality and Management for smooth execution of products and production plans.
- Monitor key production metrics and provide regular reports and updates to management.




- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement and capacity enhancement.
- Take ownership of scaling the manufacturing setup as Aguante.in grows.

What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in garment/apparel manufacturing; sportswear, activewear or experience preferred.
- Mandatory: Prior experience managing a production line with minimum 50+ industrial sewing machines.
- Strong knowledge of sewing machine settings, garment construction and manufacturing processes.
- Strong manpower management, production planning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in implementing SOPs, systems and production processes.
- Good communication, leadership and coordination skills.
- Hands-on, responsible, target-oriented and solution-focused.
- Ability to work closely with management and take ownership of the manufacturing function.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale processes in a growing brand.
