About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Tractor & Farm Machinery with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the tractor industry. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of tractor models, specifications, market prices, dealer networks, resale values, and current market trends.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying the right tractors, evaluating market prices, negotiating with dealers/sellers, and supporting the company in making commercially sound tractor purchase and sales decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage tractor-related business activities including purchase, sales, sourcing, and market development.
- Have strong knowledge of tractor brands, models, HP categories, specifications, features, and applications.
- Conduct regular market research to track current tractor prices, dealer prices, resale values, discounts, and financing schemes.
- Compare prices and specifications across competing tractor brands and models.
- Identify and evaluate tractors available from dealers, distributors, owners, and other market sources.
- Negotiate purchase and selling prices to achieve the best commercial value.
- Evaluate the condition, age, usage, maintenance history, and resale potential of tractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tractor dealers, distributors, farmers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Track competitor activities, new tractor launches, pricing changes, and market demand.
- Identify high-demand tractor models based on farmer requirements, crop patterns, land size, and regional market conditions.
- Monitor local and regional tractor market trends and provide regular price and market intelligence reports.




- Coordinate inspections, documentation, transportation, and delivery of tractors.
- Manage sales targets, revenue, margins, and overall profitability.
- Lead and coordinate the team involved in tractor sourcing, sales, and field operations.
- Conduct regular field visits to understand farmer demand and local tractor market conditions.
- Ensure accurate records of tractor purchases, sales, pricing, inventory, and customer/dealer information.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- 3–4 years of relevant experience in the tractor / agricultural machinery industry.
- Strong and practical knowledge of tractors and farm machinery.
- Excellent understanding of tractor market prices and regional price variations.
- Knowledge of major tractor brands, models, HP ranges, specifications, and applications.
- Strong understanding of new and used tractor valuation.
- Good knowledge of dealer and distributor networks.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Ability to analyse competitor pricing and market trends.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across rural and semi-urban markets.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic MIS/reporting.
- Kannada language proficiency is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with tractor dealerships, OEMs, agricultural equipment companies, farm machinery businesses, or tractor trading is preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
