Job Summary

We are looking for an SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert (SME) with years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance & Controlling to join our team at the Manager level.

The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in SAP FI/CO configuration, business process understanding, production support, issue resolution, and stakeholder management. The candidate will work closely with Finance, Business, and IT teams to deliver SAP FICO solutions, manage enhancements, resolve functional issues, and drive continuous process improvements.

Candidates with SAP S/4HANA Finance experience and exposure to SAP implementation/rollout projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and act as the functional SME for SAP FICO processes.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules.
- Handle end-to-end functional support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Work on enhancements, change requests, testing, and process improvements.
- Manage and support key FICO processes including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Centre Accounting
- Profit Centre Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Ensure smooth integration of FICO with MM, SD, and PP modules.
- Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design,



configuration, testing, and UAT support.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for developments.
- Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to identify process gaps and automation opportunities.
- Support SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, and transformation initiatives.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical production issues and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Guide junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.

Education:

- CA / ICMA /MBA / PGDM in Finance (Preferred)

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- SAP FICO certification.
- Experience in SAP implementation/rollout projects.
- Knowledge of GST, taxation, and Indian accounting processes.
- Exposure to SAP migration, upgrades, or transformation projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional and global stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance & Accounting business processes.
- Experience in SAP FICO production support and issue resolution.
- Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, UAT, and functional documentation.
- Good understanding of integration between FICO and MM/SD/PP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
