We, a c t Infraport Limited, a leading shipping & logistics company, offering the services of Chartering, Custom Broker, Cargo Handling, Stevedoring, Shipping Agency, Warehousing & Transportation, having presence in PAN India & Overseas, are looking for energetic Professional for the following position, based out of Corporate Office, Gandhidham:

Position: Manager / Senior Manager Taxation (Finance & Accounts)

Location: Corporate Office, Gandhidham

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Must/Mandatory

Experience:

- 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation.
- Experience in the Shipping, Logistics, Infrastructure, or Service Industry will be an added advantage.

Reporting To:

- Head – Taxation

Position Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Company's Direct and Indirect Tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all applicable statutory regulations, supporting financial reporting requirements, and providing taxation-related advisory to the business. The role requires sound technical expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and close coordination with internal stakeholders, auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Possess thorough knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Income Tax, and other applicable Direct and Indirect Tax laws.
- Prepare, review, and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns accurately within prescribed timelines.
- Keep abreast of amendments, notifications, circulars, and regulatory updates relating to GST, TDS, and Direct Tax laws, and ensure timely implementation.




- Ensure compliance with all Direct Tax regulations, including routine tax payments, return filing, tax assessments, tax audits, transfer pricing documentation, and corporate income tax returns.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities, tax consultants, and auditors on taxation-related matters.
- Handle foreign remittance compliances, including preparation and coordination of Forms 15CA and 15CB.

Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Prepare financial statements, management reports, MIS reports, and financial forecasts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and review Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and other financial statements in line with legal and Company accounting guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of books of accounts and financial records.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

Accounting Operations

- Be conversant with end-to-end accounting functions, including General Ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial controls.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards and Company policies.
- Maintain robust financial documentation and accounting records for statutory and internal purposes.

Audit & Regulatory Compliance

- Coordinate and support Statutory Audit,



Internal Audit, Tax Audit, and other regulatory audits.
- Ensure timely submission of schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation required by auditors.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Financial Controls

- Monitor compliance with accounting policies, financial procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Review financial reports and recommend process improvements and cost optimization initiatives wherever applicable.
- Ensure effective financial controls to safeguard organizational assets and maintain data integrity.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Direct Tax, GST, TDS/TCS, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
- Sound understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience in statutory audits, tax audits, assessments, and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of foreign remittance compliance, including Forms 15CA and 15CB.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet statutory deadlines.
