We are looking for an experienced and qualified Manager - NPD for our Further Processing plant (chicken). You will be controlling and directing the production in further processing plant and constructing menus/recipe with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of products.

Responsibilities

· Application of domain knowledge (formulation/technology transfer/ innovation) to convert ideas into final product as per the requirements thus resulting in the launch of new products in both current and current categories.

· Optimize and scale up manufacturing operations for new products to support the growth of organization.

· Experience in Recipe Identification and to Maintain and record recipes.

· Responsible for the timely and right execution of product development activities including formulation development, supporting pilot & plant trials, sensory evaluation, technology transfer and R&D; documentation (specifications, protocols, reports etc.)

· Coordinating and managing multidisciplinary projects, with colleagues from Quality, Marketing, external labs, vendors and suppliers

· Involvement in new product development of value added products of chicken (sausage,



salami, tikka, kebab, pizza toppings, burger patty’s, nuggets etc).

· Able to produce and sensory evaluate the further processed products

· Knowledge in inventory management – raw materials, product and kitchen equipments

· Practical knowledge about commercial fields and handling experience of commercial machines

· Plan orders for timely delivery

· Provide remedy for problems or defects

· Oversee the work of subordinates

· Comply with FSSAI regulations and other food safety standards

· Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Requirement

· Degree in M.Sc/B.Tech/Culinary science or a equivalent degree

· Proven experience in value added products with 3- 8 years of experience

· Work experience as a Manager/Head Chef – Meat Industry – Sausage/Nuggets preparation, RTE & RTC etc

· Exceptional proven ability of kitchen/processing management and product development

· Outstanding communication and leadership skills

Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
