ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented FP&A; Manager to lead financial planning, business performance management, and strategic finance initiatives for POP UPI and payments business. This role will work closely with leadership, product, growth, operations, and finance teams to provide actionable insights, drive financial discipline, and support key business decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of fintech, payments, unit economics, and data-driven decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning & Forecasting

- Own annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning of POP's all 3 verticals (UPI, Card and Shopping).
- Develop revenue, transaction volume, and profitability forecasts.
- Track actual performance against budgets and forecasts and provide actionable insights.

Business Performance Management





- Monitor and analyze KPIs including TPV, transaction count, active users, CAC, retention, revenue per user, payment success rates, contribution margins, LTV, and incentive efficiency.
- Publish weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Track actual performance against budget and forecast, publishing management dashboards and business performance reports.

Strategic Finance & Decision Support

- Evaluate new products, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- Conduct scenario analysis and business case evaluations.
- Support pricing, rewards, and incentive strategies.
- Build profitability frameworks and unit economics models.

Cross-Functional Business Partnering

- Partner with Product, Growth, Operations, Risk, Data, and Finance teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Support commercial negotiations through financial analysis and profitability modeling.
- Improve reporting accuracy and speed through automation, building scalable MIS and reporting frameworks.

REQUIREMENTS

- CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in FP&A;, Strategic Finance, Business Finance, or Corporate Finance. Fintech/payments experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong understanding of business and financial statements.
- SQL proficiency preferred.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Metabase.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
