Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Manager – Finance (Controllership) to strengthen our controllership function by ensuring accurate books, timely financial closures, robust controls, and statutory and regulatory compliance.

The role will work closely with the Senior Manager – Controllership to drive process improvements, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Books Closure & Financial Reporting

- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
- Prepare and review P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements as per Ind AS.
- Ensure timely MIS reporting and variance analysis.

2. Accounting & Internal Controls
- Review general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations, including GRN, vendor, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Strengthen internal financial controls (IFC) and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Drive automation and process standardisation across accounting operations.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audits




- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
- Work closely with the Tax team on GST and TDS to ensure accurate accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.

4. Team & Stakeholder Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of 2 accountants/executives.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, and FP&A; teams.
- Support the Senior Manager – Controllership with reporting and management presentations.

Requirements

- CA mandatory.
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in controllership or accounting.
- Experience in industry or Big 4/audit firms will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, accounting controls, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Advanced Excel.
- Robust attention to detail, ownership, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
