Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – CHA Operations to lead and manage end-to-end Customs House Agent (CHA) operations for Kandla and Mundra Ports. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership experience in the CHA industry, in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, and excellent relationships with Customs and Port Authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage overall CHA operations across Kandla and Mundra Ports.
- Ensure smooth execution of import and export customs clearance activities.
- Coordinate with Customs Officials, Port Authorities, Shipping Lines, and other regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with Customs Act, DGFT regulations, and all statutory requirements.
- Monitor documentation, customs filing, assessments, examinations, and cargo clearances.
- Lead and mentor the operations team to achieve operational excellence.
- Resolve customs-related issues and ensure timely cargo movement.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Customs and Government authorities.
- Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, and service quality.




- Drive process improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Customs Clearance Procedures and Documentation.
- Hands-on experience in handling Import & Export Operations.
- Sound understanding of ICEGATE, EDI systems, Customs notifications, and Port procedures.
- Strong liaison and negotiation skills with Customs and Government Authorities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Professional certifications in Customs, Logistics, or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the CHA industry, including leadership responsibilities.
- Must have managed Customs Clearance Operations at Kandla and Mundra Ports.
- Strong network and working relationship with Customs Officials and Port Authorities.
- Candidates must be from the same CHA/Customs Clearance industry only.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Gandhidham or Mundra.
