You will help clients translate business and user needs into digitally enabled eCommerce, CPQ and pricing solutions. The role requires a consultative techno-functional Business Analyst Manager who can independently lead client-facing engagements, shape solutions and proposals, connect business objectives with platform capabilities, and lead Business Analyst teams through clear requirements, delivery governance, backlog readiness and stakeholder alignment.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead the Business Analysis workstream across eCommerce, CPQ or Pricing delivery, with accountability for the BA strategy, team mobilization, requirements governance, quality standards and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with client Product Owners, senior business sponsors, solution architects, sales and delivery leaders to shape scope, roadmap, commercial propositions and prioritization decisions.
- Lead executive and senior stakeholder workshops to frame business problems, define measurable outcomes, identify value levers and align on transformation and implementation approaches.
- Guide as-is/to-be process design, capability mapping, gap analysis, backlog strategy and release scoping across multiple functional areas.
- Direct, build and quality-assure epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, functional specifications and decision records produced by the BA team.
- Identify solution options and make recommendations that balance business value, user experience, platform constraints, delivery risk and technical complexity.
- Own requirements traceability, change impact analysis and decision management across discovery, inception, construction, UAT and release.
- Lead cross-functional governance and delivery forums involving client business users, product owners, sales, UX, architecture, engineering, QA, data/integration and programme management.
- Own resolution and executive escalation of complex functional, delivery and scope issues, driving timely decisions and transparent accountability.
- Lead estimation, staffing, transition planning, pre-sales/RFP responses, solution demonstrations, reusable assets and practice/capability development as required.
- Operate as the Business Analysis Manager who independently represents the BA function to client executives, account leadership and delivery leadership.
- Own complex and ambiguous eCommerce problems, mobilize the right stakeholders and drive structured recommendations.
- Lead, coach and performance-enable a team of Business Analysts; allocate work, review outputs, build capability and ensure consistency, quality and delivery readiness.
- Influence senior stakeholders through consultative selling, value-led storytelling, negotiation and clear recommendation of decision options.
- Contribute to account growth and delivery health by identifying opportunities, risks, dependencies, capability gaps and continuous improvement actions.
- Strong understanding of digital commerce capabilities including product discovery, product detail, cart, checkout,
order capture, promotions, payment, inventory visibility, fulfilment and order status.
- Build trusted client relationships, identify follow-on opportunities and collaborate with sales and solution teams to progress qualified opportunities.
- Be accountable for BA workstream plans, estimates, staffing needs, milestones, risks, dependencies and the quality of functional deliverables.
- Establish reusable methods, templates and quality gates, and contribute to hiring, mentoring and capability development for the Business Analysis practice.
- Strong techno-functional understanding of APIs, webhooks, events, integrations, data flows, security, analytics and non-functional requirements relevant to commerce, CPQ and pricing platforms.
- Ability to lead multiple capability areas across commerce journeys, product configuration, guided selling, quotation, approvals, pricing, promotions, order management, content, search, merchandising and customer service touchpoints.
- Ability to assess platform capability fit, define functional architecture inputs, lead fit-gap analysis and guide business trade-off decisions with client, architecture and delivery leaders.
- Ability to collaborate with product owners, experience designers, architects and engineering teams to convert experience and business objectives into implementation-ready backlog items.
- Business analysis leadership and requirements governance for complex digital commerce, CPQ or pricing programmes.
- Ability to lead multiple commerce capability areas across discovery, cart/checkout, order management, customer account, promotions, content, search, merchandising and customer service touchpoints.
- Ability to assess commerce platform capability fit, define functional architecture inputs and guide business trade-off decisions with architects and delivery leads.
