Rovema India is on the lookout for a commercially strong procurement professional with technical understanding of industrial bought-out components, capable of balancing cost, quality, delivery, and supplier development objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Bought-Out Purchase Manager is responsible for the strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor development, and supply management of bought-out components electrical, electronic and mechanical used for building packaging machines. The role ensures material availability, cost optimization, supplier quality, and procurement readiness for ongoing operations and new projects.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

- Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical, pneumatic, electronic, automation, mechanical, and commercial components.
- Develop sourcing strategies to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and supply continuity.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract finalization,



and commercial discussions.
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with production and project requirements.

Cost Management
- Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
- Analyze component costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and optimize sourcing decisions.

Supplier Management
- Develop alternate suppliers to reduce supply risk and improve competitiveness.
- Evaluate supplier performance on cost, quality, and delivery.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives.

Project Support
- Ensure procurement readiness for new machine and customer projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Project teams on component selection and sourcing.

ERP & Process Excellence
- Maintain ERP accuracy and purchasing compliance.
- Use procurement analytics and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure accurate master data, lead times, pricing, and inventory parameters.

Requirements

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- Additional qualification in Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred.

Experience
- 8-12 years of procurement experience in machine building, automation, packaging machinery, or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience sourcing electrical, electronic, pneumatic, automation, and mechanical bought-out components.
- Strong understanding of component specifications, CE/UL standards, and industrial applications.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
- Supplier evaluation and risk assessment capabilities.
- Robust ERP and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
