Role Description The Manager / AVP / DVP / VP Wealth role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of wealth management clients, including acquisition of new clients and deepening relationships with existing investors, HNIs, and family offices. Daily responsibilities include assessing client needs, designing tailored investment and wealth strategies, and recommending appropriate products such as mutual funds, PMS, alternative investments, fixed income, structured products, and insurance solutions.

The role requires ongoing portfolio monitoring, performance review meetings, and proactive communication to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with risk and return objectives.



The position also includes collaborating with research and product teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, contributing to revenue and business growth targets, and mentoring junior team members where applicable.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong wealth management and investment advisory skills, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk profiling.
- Candidates should possess expertise in financial products such as mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, equity and derivatives, fixed income instruments, insurance solutions, and structured products.
- Candidates should possess strong client relationship management skills, including business development, networking, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Candidates should possess analytical and research-oriented skills, including the ability to interpret market research, economic trends, and product performance data.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a explicit, client-friendly manner.
- Candidates should possess sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to wealth management and capital markets.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFP, NISM, CFA (levels), or equivalent are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in wealth management, private banking, investment advisory, or financial planning, preferably in a similar leadership or senior relationship role.
