Manager – Accounts & Finance

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead the finance and accounting functions of our Civil Infrastructure organization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting, taxation, project costing, financial reporting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, and team leadership. Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely closure of books and compliance with accounting standards.

Project Accounting & Cost Control
- Monitor project-wise budgeting, costing, and profitability.
- Review project expenditures and analyze variances against budgets.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP) and project revenue recognition.
- Coordinate with project teams for cost monitoring and financial controls.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory requirements.
- Review and file GST returns, TDS returns, and related reconciliations.
- Handle assessments, audits, and statutory notices.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor fund flow and working capital requirements.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage liquidity.
- Coordinate with banks for loans, bank guarantees, and other financial facilities.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and collection monitoring.

MIS & Reporting




- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
- Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Team Management
- Lead and supervise the Accounts & Finance team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Train and mentor team members on accounting and compliance practices.

Qualification & Skills
- CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA Finance.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in Civil Infrastructure or Construction Industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Project Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Excellent MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

- Timely finalization of accounts.

- Effective cash flow and working capital management.
- Accuracy of financial reporting and MIS.
- Project profitability and cost control.
- Successful completion of audits without major observations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
