Supervise overall maintenance of the hospital building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lifts, and other utilities.

Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Ensure uninterrupted power, water supply, air-conditioning, and other essential services.

Manage maintenance staff, assign duties, and monitor their performance.

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repair and maintenance work.

Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment logs.

Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and inventory of spare parts.

Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance issues.

Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments regarding maintenance requirements.

Ensure fire safety systems, emergency power systems, and other critical infrastructure are regularly inspected and maintained.

Support NABH-related facility and safety requirements.

Identify potential risks and take corrective and preventive actions.
