FIRE FIGHTING MAINTENANCE ENGINEER/ TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities

- Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, testing, and servicing of fire fighting systems.
- Handle maintenance of Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Pump, Fire Alarm, Hose Reel, Fire Extinguishers, and related fire protection systems.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance at client sites.
- Check fire pumps, jockey pumps, diesel pumps, valves, hydrants, sprinkler systems, pressure gauges, and piping.
- Identify faults and attend to technical issues in fire fighting systems.
- Perform pump testing and ensure proper pressure and flow of the system.
- Carry out servicing, refilling, and inspection of fire extinguishers.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, checklists, and service reports.
- Coordinate with clients and site teams regarding maintenance requirements and complaints.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out as per applicable IS standards, NBC guidelines, and fire safety requirements.
- Follow proper safety procedures and use PPE while working at sites.
- Coordinate with technicians, fitters, welders, helpers,



and other site staff.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and provide timely technical support.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and required maintenance materials.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of fire fighting and fire protection systems.
- Practical knowledge of hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical components related to fire fighting systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
- Valuable communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to prepare basic service and maintenance reports.
- Willingness to travel to client/project sites.
- Knowledge of MS Office will be an added advantage.

Qualification Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Safety, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Fire Fighting System Maintenance, Fire Protection Projects, MEP Maintenance, or Facility Maintenance will be preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
