Roles and Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support to mainframe applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CICS transactions.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in application code, ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as monitoring system performance, performing backups, and applying patches as needed.
- Analyze logs and other data to identify root causes of errors and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements :
- 4-7 years of experience in ITIL-based mainframe support or similar role.
- Solid understanding of Control-M scheduling tool for managing jobs on IBM Mainframes (AS400).
- Experience working with CICS transaction processing systems; knowledge of COBOL programming language an asset.
