Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Machine Operator / Machine Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain production machines and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operations, maintaining production quality, identifying basic machine issues, and following safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor production/manufacturing machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Set up machines, load/unload materials, and ensure proper machine operation
- Perform basic machine adjustments, tool changes, and parameter settings as
- required.
- Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure quality and
- productivity.
- Inspect finished components/products for dimensional and quality
- requirements.
- Identify machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or performance issues and report
- them promptly.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions within the scope of the
- role.




- Coordinate with maintenance/engineering teams for major breakdowns and
- preventive maintenance.
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of machines.
- Maintain machine logs, production records, inspection reports, and downtime
- records.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, tools, and finished
- products.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, 5S practices, and company
- guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machine/workstation area.
- Support preventive maintenance and periodic machine inspections.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
- Work closely with supervisors, quality, maintenance, and production teams.
- Report any safety, quality, material, or machine-related concerns to the supervisor.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production, or a related
- technical field.
- 1–5 years of experience as a Machine Operator, Machine Technician, Production
- Technician, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience operating industrial/manufacturing machinery.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand machine operating instructions, drawings, or
- basic technical documents.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer,




- Height Gauge, etc., where applicableAbility to perform basic machine troubleshooting.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
- Good discipline, punctuality, and teamwork.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with CNC machines or other relevant production equipment.
- Knowledge of CNC machine operation and basic offset/parameter adjustments.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and basic quality practices.
- Experience working with production documentation and machine maintenance records.
