Role Description This full-time Machine Operator role is a hybrid position based in Chennai, with some work-from-home flexibility as appropriate to operational needs.

The Machine

Operator will set up, operate, and monitor production machinery used for manufacturing roofing, cladding, and related building products, ensuring smooth and safe operation throughout each shift. Daily responsibilities include performing routine checks on equipment, handling materials and hand tools, following production schedules, and maintaining accurate records of output and any issues encountered.



The role also involves conducting basic quality checks on finished products, reporting defects, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to maintain production targets and adherence to safety standards.

The Machine

Operator is expected to follow all company policies, comply with health and safety guidelines, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Machine Operation and working with industrial Machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including inspecting products, identifying defects, and following quality standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools safely and effectively for setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance tasks.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, team members, and maintenance staff.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
- Experience in metal building products or roofing systems manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Chennai, including standing for extended periods and handling materials within safety limits.
- High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent practical experience in industrial or mechanical fields is preferred.
