Position: ENT Consultant

Department: ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)

Employment Type: Full time / Part-Time / Visiting Consultant

Reporting To: Medical Superintendent / Hospital Management

Job Summary The ENT Consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions, while ensuring high-quality and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- Examine and diagnose ENT-related conditions.
- Provide appropriate medical and surgical treatment.
- Perform ENT procedures and minor surgeries as per clinical expertise.
- Manage emergency ENT cases when required.
- Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits.
- Interpret relevant investigations such as audiometry, endoscopy, CT/MRI, and other diagnostic reports.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Provide counselling to patients and attendants regarding diagnosis and treatment.
- Coordinate with other consultants and hospital departments for multidisciplinary care.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection-control practices,



and NABH standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality-improvement activities.
- Ensure proper informed consent and documentation before procedures.

Qualification

- MBBS with MS/DNB in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration.
- Relevant clinical experience preferred.
