Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary: As per company norms + Incentives

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and organised Logistics Operations Executive to manage and coordinate day-to-day logistics activities. The person will be responsible for coordinating shipments, transporters, customers and internal teams while ensuring that deliveries and logistics operations are completed smoothly and on time.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of logistics operations, good communication skills, robust follow-up abilities and the ability to handle multiple activities at the same time.

Key Responsibilities:-

Logistics Operations

- Handle day-to-day logistics and transportation operations.
- Coordinate the movement of goods from dispatch to final delivery.
- Plan and coordinate shipments according to delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
- Monitor shipment status and take timely action in case of delays.
- Coordinate loading, unloading and transportation requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and movement of goods.

Shipment Tracking & Follow-Up

- Track shipments regularly and maintain updated shipment status.
- Follow up with transporters and drivers regarding pickup and delivery.
- Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers and concerned teams.
- Identify delays, route issues or other operational problems and coordinate for quick resolution.
- Maintain proper records of delivered, pending and delayed shipments.

Documentation & Records

- Prepare and maintain logistics-related documents.
- Maintain delivery challans, invoices,



LR/transport documents and other required records.
- Ensure documentation is complete and properly maintained.
- Update logistics trackers, MIS reports and shipment records.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation and delivery activities.

Coordination

- Coordinate closely with the sales, purchase, warehouse, accounts and other internal teams.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment and delivery updates when required.
- Coordinate with transporters for rates, availability, pickup schedules and delivery timelines.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with logistics vendors and transport partners.

Reporting & MIS

- Prepare daily/weekly logistics updates and reports.
- Maintain shipment and delivery trackers.
- Monitor pending deliveries and ensure timely follow-up.
- Share regular updates with management regarding shipment status, delays and operational concerns.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation or a similar role.
- Practical understanding of logistics and transportation processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.
- Good time-management and organisational skills.
- Should be proactive, responsible and comfortable working independently.
- Candidates with experience in handling transporters, shipment tracking and delivery coordination will be preferred.
