Hiring an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and oversee all logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehouse operations, and import/export activities related to offshore drilling operations and jack-up rigs. The role requires strong knowledge of oil & gas logistics, Indian customs regulations, marine contracting, and project cargo operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient movement of materials, rigs, equipment, and capital assets while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.

Role & responsibilities

- Manage and oversee import and export of drilling equipment, rig materials, spares, and capital assets into and out of India.
- Coordinate directly with Customs House Agents (CHA), customs clearance agents, freight forwarders, and government authorities for smooth customs clearance processes.
- Supervise and manage shore-based warehouse operations, material handling, and logistics documentation.
- Utilize and oversee Warehouse operations, mandatory inputs to established ERP systems, and associated logistics reporting processes.
- Manage subcontractors, including defining scope of work, performance standards, and service delivery requirements.
- Float tenders, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and award work to global freight forwarders, domestic logistics companies, transport contractors, and CHAs.
- Coordinate marine logistics activities associated with jack-up rig mobilization/demobilization and project cargo transportation.
- Manage and negotiate marine contracts including BIMCO Charter Party Agreements, TOWCON, HEAVYCON, and related offshore towage arrangements.
- Liaise with vessel owners, marine contractors, and port authorities for rig towage operations into and out of India.




- Ensure compliance with Indian import/export regulations, customs regulations, and oil & gas industry procedures.
- Support execution of EPC, drilling, and offshore operations through timely logistics planning and material movement coordination.
- Monitor logistics costs, optimize transportation efficiency, and maintain high operational standards for HSE and compliance.
- Create and report KPIs for efficient operations

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 510 years of logistics experience within offshore oil & gas, drilling, marine, or heavy industrial sectors with 3-5 years in Logistics Manager Role
- Proven experience supporting marine logistics projects.
- Strong knowledge of Indian customs regulations, import/export procedures, and project cargo logistics.
- Hands-on experience managing capital asset imports/exports including offshore rigs and heavy equipment.
- Practical experience with BIMCO contracts, Charter Party Agreements, TOWCON, and HEAVYCON arrangements.
- Familiarity with EC process and oil & gas industry regulatory requirements related to import/export operations.
- Solid commercial, negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
- Experience using ERP and WMS platforms for logistics management.
