Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Line Cook role based in Bengaluru.

The Line

Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to standardized recipes and brand guidelines, ensuring consistent taste and presentation. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and hygiene standards, and assisting in stock rotation and inventory of ingredients.

Cook will collaborate with the kitchen team during service,



support smooth kitchen operations, and help with prep work such as chopping, marinating, and portioning. The role may also involve contributing to menu improvements, reporting equipment issues, and supporting training of recent team members as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating for casual dining or international cuisines.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including station setup, mise en place, and coordination during peak service hours.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with time management, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Basic communication skills to coordinate with chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff, and to follow instructions accurately.
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Commis Chef, or similar kitchen role in a restaurant environment preferred.
- Relevant culinary education or certification from a recognized institute is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
