Role & responsibilities

- Management of legal recovery actions through the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRT), Arbitration and Conciliation, Lok Adalat.
- A solid understanding of SARFAESI proceeding along with demonstrated experience in handling proceedings under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007
- Conversant with the trial and appellate courts and tribunals practices and procedures
- Initiation, follow up, and coordination with Advocates, Resolution professionals and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and effective recovery of NPAs.
- Excellent written and oral communication and good command over vetting and drafting of documents, replies, representations and escalations
- Comprehensive knowledge of criminal law,



along with a strong command of applicable civil laws, including recoveryrelated statutes governing Banks and NBFCs.
- Resolution of the escalations by the customer with the Reserve Bank of India and other government authorities
- Use of technology for presentation of the work as well as MIS to the management

Preferred candidate profile Looking for a law graduate with a minimum 5 years PQE in a Bank or NBFC, wellversed in both civil and criminal court proceedings, capable of independently managing the legal portfolio, and skilled in guiding and mentoring team members.
