KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee contract management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing commercial agreements.
- Manage and supervise all litigation matters, coordinating with external counsels and ensuring effective resolution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements with respect to food industry.
- Drive regulatory and legal compliance across business operations.
- Provide transaction advisory support for strategic business initiatives.
- Handle legal due diligence, structuring, and documentation for Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Advise leadership on all legal aspects of M&A; deals, including risk assessment, deal structuring, negotiations, and post-merger integration.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and support business growth.
- Develop and implement legal policies, processes, and governance frameworks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate legal affairs.
- LLB graduate. LLM is good to have
- Strong expertise in:
- Contract Management
- Litigation Management
- Regulatory Compliance
- Transaction Advisory
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;)
- Corporate and Commercial Law
- Experience handling complex commercial transactions and stakeholder management.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work closely with CXOs and business leadership.
