About the role

M3M India is looking for a Legal Associate to join its in-house legal team in Gurugram. This is a generalist role built for someone early in their career who wants breadth rather than a single narrow lane. You will rotate across real estate and land matters, contracts and commercial documentation, litigation and dispute support, and corporate and regulatory compliance — and be developed in whichever of these you show the strongest aptitude for..

We are also actively building an AI-enabled legal function. Candidates who already use AI tools fluently for research, summarization and first-pass drafting — and who understand where those tools must not be trusted — will be given clear preference.

What you will do

- Conduct legal research on property, contract, corporate and regulatory questions and convert findings into crisp, decision-ready notes for the business.
- Assist with title due diligence, title search reports, land records verification and documentation for land and project transactions.
- Draft, vet and mark up commercial agreements — vendor, consultant, contractor, channel partner, brokerage, lease, MoUs and NDAs.
- Support RERA and other regulatory compliance: filings, registrations,



disclosure obligations and compliance trackers.
- Support litigation and dispute management — case tracking, document collation, briefing and coordinating with external counsel, and drafting replies to notices, including consumer and RERA matters.
- Maintain the contract repository, obligation trackers and legal MIS, and flag renewals, expiries and risk items proactively.
- Use AI research and drafting tools to compress turnaround time, with every output independently verified against primary sources before it leaves your desk.

What we are looking for

Essential

- LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from a recognised law school; graduates of National Law Universities are strongly preferred .
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm, in-house legal team, or chambers. Strong candidates with relevant internships plus one year of experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools for legal research and drafting — for example Claude, ChatGPT, Harvey, Lexis+ AI, SCC Online AI or comparable platforms — with sound judgment on verification and confidentiality.
- Clear, accurate legal drafting and the ability to write for business readers, not only for lawyers.
- Willing and able to join within 10 days.

Preferred

- Exposure to real estate, infrastructure, construction or land transactions.
- Familiarity with RERA, the Haryana land and revenue framework, and related approvals.
- Comfort with contract lifecycle management or legal-tech tooling.
- Moot court, journal, or legal-aid credentials from law school.
