Role Description The Leather Production & Sourcing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Recent Delhi. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end leather sourcing from domestic and international suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time availability of raw materials and finished leather.

The manager will oversee production planning for leather garments and bags, coordinate with tanneries and manufacturing teams, and monitor daily output, quality standards, and process efficiency. Day-to-day activities include vendor evaluation and negotiation, sample development coordination,



documentation and compliance checks, and continuous improvement of production workflows. The role involves close collaboration with design, product development, procurement, and quality teams to align sourcing and production with brand requirements, sustainability goals, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in leather sourcing and procurement, including vendor management and negotiation with domestic and international suppliers.
- Hands-on experience in leather production management, including planning, workflow optimization, and coordination with tanneries and manufacturing units.
- Solid understanding of leather types, tanning processes, finishing techniques, and quality control standards for premium fashion and luxury products.
- Knowledge of sustainability, ethical sourcing, and compliance frameworks, preferably with exposure to certifications like SA8000, ISO 14001, or SMETA.
- Proficiency in using production and inventory management tools or ERP systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with design, product development, and operations teams.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Leather Technology, Fashion Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in leather manufacturing or fashion accessories production, ideally in a high-volume or export-oriented environment.
