Role Description The Lead Forward Deployed Engineer is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading technical deployment and integration of Voice India AI’s platform at client locations. This role involves gathering and interpreting client requirements, designing deployment architectures, and overseeing installation, configuration, and optimization of on-premise solutions.

The engineer will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and client success teams to ensure reliable performance, compliance alignment, and seamless interoperability with existing systems and dialer infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, conducting performance and security audits, documenting deployment standards,



mentoring junior engineers, and supporting pilots and production rollouts for collections and customer engagement workflows.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in solution deployment and implementation, including on-premise infrastructure setup, system integration, and environment configuration for enterprise clients.
- Proficiency with cloud and server technologies (Linux/Windows servers, networking fundamentals, databases), and experience working with APIs, microservices, and CI/CD workflows.
- Background in AI or communication platforms, such as voice tech, telephony, dialer systems, omnichannel messaging, or conversational AI, with an understanding of scalability and reliability.
- Experience managing client-facing technical projects, including requirement gathering, technical documentation, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of regulatory and security standards relevant to financial services and telecom, and familiarity with data residency, access control, and audit practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, prioritize multiple deployments, and drive continuous improvement in deployment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience working with BFSI, telecom, or other highly regulated sectors is an advantage; comfort operating in fast-paced, high-accountability environments is preferred.
