Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake / Databricks)

Location: Ahmedabad / Pune

Experience: 7-10 Years

Preferred: Immediate Joiners

Key Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Expertise in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing
- Experience with Data Lake/Lakehouse Architectures
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar orchestration tools
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Robust focus on Data Quality, Governance, Security, and Performance Optimization
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)

Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data solutions on Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines
- Design scalable Data Models and Data Warehouse solutions
- Optimize queries, pipelines, and processing workloads
- Implement Data Quality, Monitoring, and Governance frameworks




- Mentor Data Engineers and lead technical initiatives
- Collaborate with Architects, Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Teams

Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with both Snowflake and Databricks
- Experience with dbt and Apache Airflow
- Streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
- Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools
- Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI solutions
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Leadership Expectations
- Lead technical projects and architecture discussions
- Mentor junior and mid-level Data Engineers
- Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across data platforms

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,870,159.69 per year
