- Operate conventional / manual lathe machines for component machining.
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading and related operations.
- Read basic engineering drawings and understand dimensions.
- Set and operate the machine as per job requirements.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper and micrometer.
- Check dimensions and maintain required accuracy.
- Handle job loading, unloading and tool changes.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S and safety procedures.
- Support production targets and maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- ITI in Fitter / Machinist / Turner / Mechanical trade.
- Hands-on experience in lathe machine operation preferred.
- Freshers with relevant ITI qualification can also apply.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
